I was born with a mission, a calling to honor the familial tradition, on a continuum of the cultural alternative movement to the most powerful, as symbolized by the Campbell’s Soup can (no offense intended to Campbell’s Soup).

Campbell’s Soup was the symbol chosen by Warhol, a historical figure who shares Trump’s inexplicable hold over a base (celebrities). I have written about how Warhol rose from a working-class background and turned the hierarchy upside down, making the workers celebrities and celebrities into mass-produced products in his images of identical portraits arranged like soup cans on a grocery shelf.
