The education discussion is hot and heavy on the Boothbay Peninsula in Maine right now. An article in the Boothbay Register titled Edgecomb School Committee proposes $4.158M budget Spending up 11%, assessment up 2.7%

The consistent Maga commenter is, as usual,outraged at the amount of money being paid to teachers and reccomended looking up their salaries in Open The Books.org, which I did and found the specific page for the salaries of those employed at the Edgecomb School

Using the AMI according to the Boothbay Regional Development Corporation which claims the Average Medium Income for this area for a family of four is $94,900, there is only one salary that exceeds that amount and that still qualifies for affordable housing according the the BRDC, which thanks to LD 2003 targets 120 AMI to qualify for affordable housing.
