The news about the elections is devastating. Like many others I expected Harris to win. I ended my last post with forward-looking hope of a federal administration that understood that work isn’t only about the money. I couldn’t believe that America would elect a man who was running a hate-filled campaign threatening to execute his opponents, especially not after calling Puerto Rico an island of floating garbage and thereafter Trump and Vance were both using garbage as the symbol of their campaign. It was hard to believe that such behavior was a part of an American presidential campaign, let alone that it could win. Is that the winning message in America in 2024?
